Charles Graeber is a New York Times bestselling author, an award winning journalist and contributor to numerous publications including Wired, GQ, The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Vogue, National Geographic, Men’s Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the New York Times. His work has also been featured on 60 Minutes, NPR's Fresh Air, and the BBC among others.
As a former medical student and researcher, his co-authored papers appeared in scientific journals including Kidney International. His writing since has received honors including the 2011 Overseas Press Club award for outstanding international journalism, a New York Press Club award for the year’s best magazine spot news reportage, several National Magazine Award-nominations and an American Poet's Prize. He has also been included in numerous anthologies including The Best American Crime Writing, The Best American Science Writing, The Best American Business Writing, The Best of 10 Years of National Geographic Adventure, The Best of 20 Years of Wired, and the upcoming Best American Magazine Writing Collection.
