Charles Graeber is a New York Times bestselling author, an award-winning journalist and contributor to numerous publications including Wired, GQ, The New Yorker, New York Magazine, Vogue, National Geographic, Men’s Journal, Bloomberg Businessweek, and The New York Times. His work has also been featured on 60 Minutes, NPR's Fresh Air, and the BBC among others.
Graeber's writing has received honors including the 2011 Overseas Press Club "Ed Cunningham" Award for the year's most Outstanding International Journalism, a 2012 New York Press Club Prize for the year’s Best Spot News reportage, several National Magazine Award-nominations for feature writing and an American Poet's Prize. Graeber has also been included in numerous anthologies including The Best American Crime Writing, The Best American Science Writing, The Best American Business Writing, The Best of 10 Years of National Geographic Adventure, The Best of 20 Years of Wired, and the Best American Magazine Writing 2014 collection.
Born in Iowa, he now lives in Nantucket, MA and Brooklyn, NY.
